Transport Telematics

Intelligent Transport Systems, abbreviated as ITS,

often referred to as transport telematics, combine the advantages of information technology and telecommunications with the aim of using the existing and future transport networks more efficiently, improving traffic safety, and enhancing comfort for passengers and drivers.

We encounter telematics in our daily lives

and consider it a routine part of our world - whether in traffic light control systems, dynamic navigation, public transport ticketing systems, or electronic logbooks and vehicle fleet tracking.

However, the use of transport telematics goes far beyond this

and plays a crucial role in our lives — particularly in planning and optimising supply vehicle routes, managing traffic on highways and in tunnels, enabling electronic toll collection on highways and in urban areas, or providing high-quality traffic information to drivers and passengers.
